Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
My Toshiba A105-S2101 Keeps crashing. I installed windows Vista on this notebook about 3 months ago and order a memory upgrade from 512MB to 2gigs. Soon after my notebook started crashing. So i wiped windows vista from my pc and went back to windows xp. My computer continued to crash, so i called the company i ordered the memory from. However they told me that the memory that was ordered was the correct memory for my machine. However i do know in most cases that 70% of all BSOD is caused by memory problems. My computer starts up fine and might run for a week before crashing and it might only last for a few mins. The error message is as followed after the computer crashes and restarts.
BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C0000005 BCP2: 8054AA32 BCP3: AF45C8A4 BCP4:00000000
OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 2_0 Product:768_1
The event viewer shows an (Error) Source = "System"
Thank everyone in advance for their time. I have a Toshiba A105-S2101 and after SP2 was downloaded window would not boot up. Any one know how to help?
Try downloading and running memtest86 on it, my guess is that the new memory chips are faulty.
