Question about Philips 60PP9202 60" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I saw that you seem to know a LOT about TVs. Do you think fixing the convergence is something we could do without a repairman? I live in the middle of nowhere (40 miles from the nearest city) and have looked high and low, but no one will come to my home for a house call. I don't own a truck and even if I did, I'm a woman and couldn't load this monster up.
I appreciate your advice!!
You have 2 big black chips these ics control power off/on as well as the convergence circuits STK392-110s use 180s Go by the number on STKs replace them both, also you will need someone who can solder.Good Luck ! Let me know if you should need anymore help.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
