Question about Moen 3175 Legend One Handle Shower Faucet With trol Pressure Balancing Valve....
I have a single handle Moen bath faucet that is only about 2 years old and does not get much use. Recently when we turned it one the cold water came out but when I continued to turn it around to the hot it trickled down to a small drip. Some insight to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you frcs68. After calling the manufacturer, I found that it is advisable to turn on the water for a minute or two more frequently than I have in the past in order to prevent the cartridge from sticking in the same cold water position. Hopefully that advice will help others.

Turm off the water at the main first.
take the handle and the plate off the control.
use a plier to take out the cartridge.
replace with a new one or you can repair by change all of the "O" rings and rubber sets.
make sure the postion when you take off the cartridge. there is front and back to the cartridge. if you install it backwards, it will not work.
