I have a mac, a printer and an ipad2 connected to my wireless network. lately i have been losing my internet connection a few times an hour all day long.. I have no idea what is wrong, when i unplug it and...

I had the same problem, and my issue was the printer. Every time i connected the printer using a wireless scan on the printer to connect to the router, it would kick my laptop out. Try disconnecting the printer and rebooting the router(Do this first, start it up and then do the next step with the printer off if you're still having problems). Do a factory reset on the router as well, but you have to set everything up again(i did that a couple of times). Hold reset button for ten seconds then let it reboot if you want to go that route. Once you reboot the router(try the simple boot first), leave the printer off and try and run your mac and ipad2 for a couple of hours and see if they stay connected and there are no interruptions. If they still do the same, then do a factory reset like noted above and try again. If they work ok, then the printer is conflicting with your other devices. The way i fixed mine was to connect my printer to the router using the manual method. You have to go to the dlink administrator login, go to setup, click wireless settings, then click add wireless device with WPS, click on manual, then go to your printer and go to wireless settings, click on manaul connection and it should give you a pin number. Now hit start scan on dlink page and then go on wireless printer and have them pair up. It's a lot, but it worked for me and hopefully it works for you. good luck

Cannot get wireless computer upstairs to find Kodak wireless printer . Starting having the problem after switching from cable to dsl. Can access network without a problem and all my security settings are...

I think you may need to reset your router and let your printer to try to find your router again. But keep a note of all the settings on your router so you don't lose them. Any chances that your printer can be trying to connect to other wireless device other than your router and look like connected? Restart your printer and remove the settings on your printer and try the steps as you are setting up the wireless connection between your router and your printer for the first time.

I keep losing internet connection to my PC, so I have to reboot several times a day. My laptop, printer and Nook work fine.

Try reflashing the router, the firmware is available here:
If that does not correct the issue, try physically moving the router away from any sources of heat, as that can also cause the issue.

Require my username and password from netgear so i can connect to a wireless printer

If you haven't changed the default password (user admin and password as password, or if that doesn't work try 1234) try to log in with that, if that doesn't work you will need to reset the router to the factory settings to get in with the default user and password which is the above one. Note that you will lose the ISP settings and wireless settings when you reset the router.

Here's a video on how to reset the router to the factory default settings:

Cannot connect my laptop to wireless

Your wireless printer might frequently lose its communication with the computer and hence might not print all the documents when you want. Such an issue arises when there is interference in the wireless signals between the printer and the computer. This could be caused by any other wireless device kept in the vicinity of your printer like a cordless phone. Keep all other wireless devices way from the printer set-up to tackle this issue. Also bear in mind that if your system is turned on for hibernation mode then it would disconnect your printer the moment it goes into hibernation. get more help

Loses connection w. remote computer I have a laptop one room away. The laptop accesses the internet and printers from this location. Most of the time it works. However, it will suddently lose the conection...

Check if this router is stronng enough interms of it signals. Check on the laptop the signal strength of the conenction.

If the signal strength is poor you can either move closer to the wireless router or vice versa or can get an access poitn to boost the signal.

Try upgrading the Routers firmware settings, before you do that make sure that you take down the settings , as you will have to resetup your network .

Check the IP segments. Your printer & your machine would be falling in the same IP segment as your job network. Change the IP segment of your pc & printer.
