I ordered a new Cartridge, cause the back element burned out. Maybe it will fix the problem.

The elements in my ranges is not working

the 8" run on 240volts,the 6" only on 120 volts, check the input volts on high at this element connection for 240v.a.c. on high, otherwise the supply line is missing one leg of power or theres a burned wire or component

Right front (large) burner indicates hot, won't work, flashes F153

I hade a code 153 also. Changed the element(costly-$200) and had to recalibrate the pan sensors(in the manual). All works fine now.

Stove top will not heat oil hot enough to fry foods. Burner continues to re-cycle on and off while switch is on high. Burner gets red hot for a few seconds then turns off for a few seconds, then back on.

You may have a cracked element, they expand when heated and cause a separation in the element. You really have to put a voltmeter on it to test it under load. If the voltage remains constant while the element is heating and cooling, then indeed you have a bad element.

If you don't have a voltmeter, or don't want to perform this test, buy a heating element and replace it, if you have the same problem, you'll have a spare element

Scott,
On each of the heating elements there is a thermostat that does two things. It is a high limit safety thermostat and then a different set of contacts turn on the hot surface light. Unfortunately, you can't just replace that part. You will need to isolate which element it is with a mutimeter and replace the entire element. When you turn one of the units on high you will see a dark line under the glass running 1/2 way across the elements. Those are the thermostats... Find the defective one and the rest is pretty simple to replace
