Model al-1540cs, copier produce blank copies

I just received 2 copiers that have been moved and stored for a while, they both produce blank copies, the scanner doesn't seem to be moving but is in the unlocked position, the paper is facing in the right position, no error codes. They don't appear to have been abused. What else can I check?

I have the same problem. The copier gives me back blank paper. It doesn't print.

The first thing to check is the toner cartridge - if it's been stored for a long time the toner may have deteriorated or solidified. Try shaking or replacing the cartridge, and if this doesn't work it could be either the drum or developer.

THERE ARE TWO CORONA THAT PRODUCES BLANK COPIES, ONE IS IN THE DRUM UNIT ON TOP OF THE DRUM UNIT. THE OTHER IS IF YOU STAND IN FRONT OF THE COPIER OPEN THE COVER TO THE RIGHT, THERE IS A WIRE LOOKS LIKE A GUITAR STRING IF IT IS BROKEN OR MISSING, NEED TO REPLACE. GOOD LUCK

What does 4 H indicate?

When your copier voltage is abnormal then heater lamp is not on properly.So indicate H4.When H4 signal is blinking you must reset this code or error.
press c button press Photo/Exposure button again C Photo.(C>Photo>C>Photo) display blank press copy quantity button 14 press print key /Start key machine will be ready.
All are hopes fix

Error code 1 and L flashing alternately

Hello sir; I like you check the scanner unit, the mirrow does move out when you make a copy, you may easy to find out what cause the mirrow not move out.

Blinking h then 4

Hi,

The error H and 4 blinking indicates that, You have a defective fuser unit.
H is for HEATER
You should replace youe heater unit, if your product falls in warranty period, you can avail wrranty..

Sharp 1540cs L-1 error, then L-5

Try cleaning the guide bar, then lube it with oil also clean your sensor under your carriage(blow it out with a can of air. If the problem persist check your belt and make sure its tight. You can adjust it from the left rear of the machine behind the Main board.

When [L1-00] appears, the scan head
locking switch is locked. Turn off the
power, release the scan head locking
switch, WAIT 10 SECONDS and turn the power back on.

F-5 error

Manual says F5 as copy lamp lightning abnormality.
Never had on AR series Sharp machines this trouble,but remember on old Canon NP 6016 when lamp was bad -no dark ends and low intensity of lightning but intensity too high.This machine was equiped with doc feeder and customer performed a lot of copies from glass only and I think he was damaged lamp when close the doc feeder.
the fluorescent type lamp was used on this Canon-Sharp uses Xenon lamp (I think),but they could be very common in construction (tube with electrodes on ends and gass inside)
This fault is very difficult to troubleshoot-try another lamp first,next sensor from good working machine.
