Universal remote control

I have a Venturer Home theater (STS20-S). I bought an universal remote control (General Electric 24991) and I have no idea how to use it. The worst thing is that somehow I managed to put the hometheater in MONO and now, I have no idea how to put it in stereo again. I appreciate if someone can help me.
