I have the same problem with my new N810. Rakeshjobs20, did you replace yours or found a solution?

This seems to be a hardware related problem. Got a new n810 by warrranty. That seems to work ok. Maybe there's a quality issues with these screens or something...

at first it was just a vertical line about 1/2 a centimeter wide, but now the whole screen is screwed up

My nokia 9300's screen went blank.please give me necessary support on how i can remove it without depending on the communicator screen. infact the outer screen is ok but the communicator screen is what...

First of all, your question is not clear enough for me,but let me conclude what you are saying.

Loosing the internal display depends on LCD and Flex connector that connects the upper and the lower panel. But most problem that i encounter about this mobile is the replacement of Flex connector due to some cut areas along its parts. Outer display is separate from internal display so possible to see the outer display.

This mobile need to fix by an experience techinician because fixing this problem is more complicated to work with, more likely on dismantle, replacing and disassembling the parts than any small type of mobile.I may advice you to bring it to an authorize service center to make this problem.

Regarding your personal data that stack inside your phone, You need a tool to recover all of your important data.Download this link to copy all files coming from the phone and all the way to your computer.

Display screen for ma 3230 phone

It is repairable but you need a microscope to inspect the solderings and there is alvays a risk off the data cable to bent and cut again near the solderings.
The soldering needs some experiense and right tools,
but the issue was "is it repairable?"
The solution is "YES" it is repairable.

Hi, from mexico n800 problem

Are you sure it's the right charger? The charger is not supplying enough "juice" to keep the N800 on when it turns on. Once it turns off, it charges enough to try and turn on again... hence the endless loop of power cycling.

Hope this helps,
Bill

Nokia E61, Flashing Screem

Let me guess ... you dropped the phone at least once recently?

Well, I did the same, and the first three times I got it working by smaking it face-up on the table (literally!). However, this morning was the last straw, and I could not get it working again.

However, I now know this is an easily repaired problem that someone with very basic skills and tools can tackle. With the earlier crude remedy I suspected a loose contact, and this was confirmed by squeezing the phone just right between the power light and the speaker I got the backlighting to work. To fix it, the steps are:

- Remove battery cover
- Remove battery
- Start disassembly by removing top rear shell (the bit with the lens cover) by gently prising with a small screw driver. There are five catches - one middle left, one middle right right, one center bottom, two at the top +/- 1/2" from the edges. Gently remove the in the same direction as you would the battery.
- Remove front shell by undoing 4 screws now visible on the rear of the phone, one at each corner. Itis a funny torque screw, but I used a small flat and it worked OK
- Turn the phone face up. Right at the top and about 1" from the left there is a red screen connector (you'll see the copper of the screen's strip cable terminating there). Gently press down on this connector to reconnect, and Hey Presto!
- While you're about it, remove all the dust and muck in the phone.
- Reverse the steps for re-assembly

If you do not feel up to it, take the phone to an agent or repair shop with these instructions. It is a 5 minute job and they should charge accordingly!

Good luck!

Francois
