I'm trying to set my printer up but i don't have the disk

The WPS "key" , not PIN, is on a label on your router. Not on your printer.
Use that for setting up your printer. If you're leaching off a neighbors wifi system, you're out of luck.

Its don't Ask for your RAM (Read Only Memory), but it's require Hard Disk memory... so please check free space in your Hard disk... if its less than 1000mb then free some space........

Look in teh Drivers and Software section on the HP website for that printer and you should be able to download both the User manual and the Installation disc and drivers. www.hp.com

Don't worry. You do not need the HP disk for the software and drivers. All you need to do is go to the HP website and download the latest drivers and software for your printer. If you have any other questions feel free to repost in this thread.

This is for Windows Vista--depending on your version of Windows, some steps could be worded a little bit differently. Don't worry, you should still get to the right place eventually! :)

Go to "Start"

Go to "Control Panel"

Below "Hardware and Sound," click Printer

Right click the printer you want and select "sharing"

Click "Advanced" tab

Choose "Print directly to the printer"

Apply and then press OK

You are set to go!!

Set up the printer, turn on, place the windows disk in the laptop and install the software that is on the disk, when the disk tell you to connect the USB cable, connect the USB cable.
