Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
My ps2 slim will not turn on when I press the power button. The red "stand-by" light is on, so I know it's getting power, however when I press the power button the light does not turn green and the system does not boot up. This problem occured instantaniously. I was playing a game, turned off the console to put in a new one, and when I tried to turn it on nothing happened. Does the tray have to be closed? Could it be the system is not detecting the tray to be closed? Does anyone have an idea of what is causing the problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
I have same probs with mine and found it could be a fuse well thats what it said on net (tryed new switch)still nothing.
