Question about Insignia NS-DV2G MP3 Player

1 Answer

I'm downloading mp3 from limewire and then saving to my desktop and then open them up on windows media player so i can "tranfer" them to insignia but only 10 songs were uploaded. I checked on windows media player and on my "computer" prompt to check to see if they were uploaded, and sure enough they appear on on the album list but my insignia mp3 won't play them. what the heck man?

Can't figure out how to transfer to MP3 from Limewire

you can do that by plugging in the mp3 player and going into My Computer (if the auto player didn't pop up, in the case just click view files) click on your mp3 player to open it, there should be a music folder, open that and just copy and paste your music files into there

Trouble getting downloaded songs to my mp3 player

I think I had this same problem. Look on your computer for the limewire folder. For instance I saved mine to my documents. open the folder. Ther should be a sub folder marked saved. This is where all my songs go to once they have completed on Limewire. good Luck :)

Cant transfer limewire music from my computer to my mp3

You can't use Limewire directly to transfer songs to the Nextar. You will need to transfer the songs to the Nextar using Windows Media Player. Limewire puts the songs in a folder called "Limewire Downloads" usually. You will need to open Windows Media Player, run the mouse over the "Library" tab, and select "Add to Library." Once the window pops up you will need to add the folder called "Limewire Downloads" - it may take several minutes, but Windows Media Player is going to add all of those Limewire downloads to its own library. Then, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to the Nextar.

How do u download songs on a mp3 player

Okay I know how to download songs from CDs and limewire. If you have windows media player, plug up the mp3 player then open up windows media player. Put the cd in and go to rip, choose the songs you want to rip off the cd. Then go to sync and synchronize it to the device. From limewire you type in the songs that you want to download to limewire. Open up my computer and go to your device plugged in. Then drag the items over to the devices open window. Also it helps if you just play around with it on the computer!

How to download to mp3 player

What you need is Windows Media Player. But you have to make sure you have an updated version of Windows Media Player or it will not work. Then what you have to do is download music, I usually use Limewire or Blubster. When you have downloaded the files that you want you have to save the files. When you save the files you have to open them in windows media player, after opening them you pick that you want to sync the files to your mp3 player. Sometimes you have to save the files to your Windows Media Player. See if that works. I have this same mp3 player and that's how I do it.

Use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs downloaded from Limewire to your Sansa. The first time you open Windows Media Player, it will search the "My Music" folder for songs - this may take a few minutes. Mkae sure you have Windows Media Player 10 or 11. You can either move or copy the Limewire songs to the folder called "My Music," or go into Windows Media Player and change Windows Media Player's configuration so that it can read the Limewire downloads folder.
