Re: Audio but no Video
Might be the componet cables... but some consoles have alot of heat sink compond and when the system gets to hot it runs down onto the mobo... If you have tryed everything else and the system is not under warranty open it up and check to see if this is the case.

make sure your cords are in properly. You may have to get a new set of cords from ebay or your local electronics store. Also NOTE: Most TV's have AV1, AV2, Component, then Cable. AV1 and AV2 are both ports(usually on the sides and back), thatyou plug the audio and video into. Make sure both of these have no video or audio before you go out to purchase new cords.
Some x-box 360 cables have a switch on the end that inserts into the 360 console. It switches to HD TV if you have one. If it is switched to the wrong TV type you will get no picture.
Try a different cable or HDMI cable if the 360 had HDMI.
If none of the above work its probably 360 mainboard. Easiest fix would be to replace it or exchange if it has warranty. Good Luck
Make sure the Coaxial cables are hooked up properly. I don't know the HD colors right off hand but the normal colors are [RED Audio][WHITE Audio] and [Yellow Video]. Hope you get it hooked up with videos and sounds soon. Make sure that if your useing regular coaxial cables, your not hooking them into HD slots and Vice Versa
Double check TV is on video 1,2,3 same for 360s yellow video out.
If then you still have audio only ,the G.P.U has open connections
form the video feed to the mother board Solution, you must have the G.P.U re-clamp to the main board.
That Works. 99% of the time.
I had this problem when I used my 360 on a new projector, its because the video setting on your 360 is set to 60Hz, and your display can only support 50Hz, you should still be able to see the picture enough to change the setting, but most games will now not work, so yu will really need to buy either;
- The VGA (like what PC'a use + audio) HD Cable
- The Component (a yellow, blue, green and red plug + audio) HD Cable
- The Advanced SCART Cable
or you can connect the standart composite cable (one yellow plug) to an RF modulator and use a coax (arial) connection, but this will give pretty dire quality.
You need a 4 port A/V switch. Ebay has one:
