You can uninstall the office pack from your pc and then go to the office website and install the free trial of the application that you need and that should work

Hello earrye,

Sorry but Fixya doesn't allow any illegal activity. But what I can do is advice you to download a FREE compatible program instead that works like MS Office. It can create/open/edit MS office files. It is FREE and LEGAL. Here is the link:

Hi. Please check your license and activation. If your MS Office 2007 is not registered, edit functions will deactivate after 60days of installation.

Please click here to see how to activate Office 2007.

Hope this helps.

I bought a comp and it camewith it but it keeps asking for a serial key

It sounds like what you have is a trial version. You trial time has expired, so it is asking for the key that would be provided if you bought the program.

A good - and free- alternative to MS Office is OpenOffice which can be found at OpenOffice.org. You can set the program to save your work in the MS formats (.doc, .xls) It can also open and edit MS documents.

If you don't want to buy the Microsoft suite - either never open it or uninstall it.

maybe the ms office 2007 that you have i just a trial version and your trial version has expired or you have a microsoft office viewer only which means that you can just open and view a certain file but you can't edit them or type anything at the file.

My 30 day trial of MS Office hasn't yet expired

Hi Paul

The provision of Product-Keys is the sole responsibility of Microsoft. We get many requests from frustrated users of their 'Trial Packages'.
They want you to buy the package now. I like to give other options.

As an alternative, might I suggest Open Office from Sun Micro.
  • It is a full office productivity suite.
  • You can open and modify any file type MS-Office can
  • IT"S Free
  • You can download the package from their site right now!
Either way you choose, best of luck to you.

Key for microsoft office picture manager 2003

Hi,

I think you should purchase the key. Picture manager isn't part of the MS Office suite and it sounds like your trial has ended.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

I have a problem sir

Hi Sukhipam,

Can you please provide more details?

From the look of the things I can guess two things.

1. The MS office 2007 that you are using currently is a Trial Version and it has expired OR

2. The Document you are trying to open is protected.

If it is the first case, please purchase the software to work on it or you could download from among the lots of freewares around the internet which does the basic work that MS Office does.

If it is the second case, kindly go to the Review Tab of the Ribbon. Click the Protect Document icon (right end of the Ribbon) & click on Restrict Editing & Formatting. At the bottom of the pane click the Stop Protection button (If there is no
password you will be allowed to revise the document. If prompted for a password and you do not know what it is, you cannot make changes anywhere in the file.
Trust this helped.
