Does anyone know why my Asus WL-138GE is making my system hang at boot time?
I have disabled the Windows wireless service and am using the Asus utility. I have also updated to latest drivers, which made no effect
Im using Win XP Pro SP2

I tried that before posting.
Ive tried all 4 PCI slots, and drivers are latest ASUS drivers.
Even a reinstall dont solve it.

Remove the card and install in a different pci slot,it may be a problem with the way windows is giving the pci slot the startup request.
Just also double check that the correct driver is being recognised and not a windows generic driver.
Look in device manager on hardware tab and see if there is a 'x' or an exclamation mark (!) against the wireless card.
