SOURCE: Have a Aiwa Z-L520 system.

Hi,
Z-L520 has two cassette doors, not sure what door is broken. Please check below exploded view of cassette door that indicates latch on side (marked with red arrow), if this is broken then cassette door wont close/ lock and cassette door need to be replaced and it is difficult job for novice.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

My cd drawer will not open. It was suggested that a belt was slipping and I take it apart. How do I do this?

To be honest with you...this unit is quite complicated to be user serviceable. When to press the open button for the cd drawer..do you hear the motor running.this unit uses gears to open the drawer. If you can hear the motor..and even if not...the drawer is not opening...please get it serviced by a qualified technician. If you try to repair this yourself..you can easily cause more damage to the unit.....by all means...DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THIS UNIT YOURSELF.I hope this was helpful....

I have a insignia CD/DVD iPod Dock player, NS-ES6111. When it plays a CD after a couple of minutes it stops playing. Have changed CDs, still does it. Have reset the system and continues to stop playing.

If you've also power-cycled the unit (turn it off and unplug it for several minutes) and the problem still persists, repairs will likely be required. Service can be obtained by carrying the unit in to the place of purchase.

Bose does not release their schematics or parts lists, effectively making themselves the only repair center for their products. Your only safe repair method is to contact the service/repair center at www.bose.com. They will likely offer you a flat rate repair or credit towards the purchase of a new unit.

The tray of cds does not work properly, does not allow the change of disc to disc and stuck

Try pressing repeatedly the eject button while you turn on the unit. If this doesnot work
then it is a mechanically problem in your player .

You need to manually open to take out the cd .

The rubber thread which should be connected to the motor inside the cd player might have moved from its place.

You need to place the rubber thread to proper place.

Also if the belt is slipping, the mech never gets the "drawer closed" signal, and the disk will not spin.

RCA RS2046 CD won't play

This is what I found: It worked for me.
You can try to reset the unit using the procedure below: Let the unit sit with the AC power cord out of the wall for a couple of hours. Then hit the power button 10-15 times (with the AC power cord still out of the wall socket!) and then try again. If you continue to have problems unfortunately it sounds as though it is within the electrical assembly. It is hard to say exactly what caused it or exactly what the problem with the circuits are without having a technician look at it. If the place of purchase can not simply exchange the product you can email me your...........

CD unit

Effectively, the loading me4chanism is out of timing. This unit needs to be rebuilt. Why it became out of time is not important or knowable really. This is not a repair I would attempt without the service manual as these units have a specific re-assembly sequence. That sequence insures that the gear timing is correct.
Good luck.

Home Stereo System

Sounds like a internal error on the amp itself. Maybe it caught a surge, I had a stereo unit that got zapped by the way it was unplugged from the wall.
