Drivers Side brake light bulb is burned out.

I had a similar problem when my original bulb burned out and I attempted to replace it. Found out the bulb I bought to replace it worked as a turn signal and brake light but not a tail light. Make sure you're using the. Perfect replacement bulb. Most bulbs now are doubled and tripled in functions so if yours is triple but you have a double bulb it won't light up your tail light. Start there

Your car has lost a ground wire somewhere on the dashboard.

The tail light bulbs are double filament with the low side being for the the running light and the bright side for the the brighter brake and turn. The low side of you bulb is burned out.

You might need a new Brake Light Switch, it is located by the brake pedal.

If you have a beebing noise every time you press on the brake, it is because a tail light is burnt out. There are two filaments in each brake light. Therefore, when you turn on your hazards, it will appear that both tail lights work properly. The beebing warning sound is actually a feature that Dodge put in the Rams so drivers would know their tale light is out. Just replace the tail light bulb, and the beebing will automatically cease. To get the tail light housing out, you will need a torex screw driver. Also, you twist the bulb housing out as opposed to pulling it out. There are three prongs that twist out.

two fuses one for each side of the car ,it uses a combined stop and tail light bulb ,so change the bulbs or test them

Sounds like you need to replace the drivers brake/tail light.

Determine which lights are burned out by asking a friend to hit the brakes while you stand behind the car.

Step 2 Purchase the bulbs from an auto parts store or a large home and garden chain store. If you don't know what type of bulb to get, bring the burned out light bulb inside the store with you (see steps below to remove).

Step 3 Open the trunk of the vehicle. You'll notice two Torx screws on the side of each tail light assembly. Use your A-T15 Torx screwdriver to un-screw the assembly on the side with the burned out bulb.

Step 4 Slide the tail light assembly out toward the rear of the vehicle. Disconnect the proper connector for the brake light and pull out the spent bulb.

Step 5 Insert the new bulb.

Step 6 Slide the tail light assembly back into the car and replace the Torx screws.

Step 7 Replace the bulb on the other side with the other new bulb in the pack you purchased, since it will probably burn out soon as well.

Open the trunk and locate the trim door that covers the back of the drivers side tail light assembly. Open the door and locate the bulb holder. The bulb holder can be removed from the tail light assembly housing by turning counter clockwise 1/4 turn. Holding the bulb holder in one hand, press gently on the bulb and turn then bulb counter clockwise to remove. Replace with a combo bulb and reverse proceedure to re-install.

have you checked the bulb sockets to see if they are burnt or corroded sometime i see that the plastic melts around the contacts where the socket twists into the housing. if your lucky you might get away with replacing just the socket for the brake/running light bulb. but if it is too melted your most likely going to need a new housing
