SOURCE: No sound from a Shure MX412D/C
Sounds to me like you may be missing a phantom power supply. The 570S is a Dynamic mic. The MX412d/c is a Cardioid and requires a 11-52v supply over pins 2 & 3 in the mic cable. Phantom power is a feature of most professional mixing consoles(usually 48v). If you do not have a phantom power supply on your system- then you can purchase single battery powered units to insert in the link between sound console and Mic. For example: AKG B-18
Hope this helps.

Check your wire connections inside the mic where the xlr cable connects to the mic. Hopefully your mic has never been dropped as this will damage it. The sm58 is pretty much indestructible, so check your cabling that you use, try a different channel.
SOURCE: Is the frequency used by
It depends on the specific frequency that you have. Some of the UT systems operated between 698 and 806 MHz, and they are now illegal.
Other UT systems operated below 698 MHz and those are still legal to use.
Look at the frequency that is on the sticker on the back or bottom of the receiver or the sticker that is in the battery compartment of the microphone.

Unfortunately, there are many, many things that can cause a unit to be non-functional. Try calling Shure to get it repaired, or call Delta Audio at 773-764-3634. Delta Audio also repairs older Shure equipment.
