Question about Phones

1 Answer

I have 4ea. Uniden Power Max 5.8 Phones(2 sets of 2ea.). I have had these phones about 4 years. As you look at one of the phones, there is a red light that is just above the ear piece at the top left of the phone. During all this time that I have had these phones, the light never came on until Dec. 3, 2008. Each of the 4 phones now have the red light blinking. Will you please advise why the light on each phone started blinking? Thanks

Check out removing the internal battery on the phone and reinsert it again .the battery is on the circuit board.it gets mostly resetted after this.

Phones out of Range

If you start over and unplug the home base and then plug it back in and set the time and date etc, then re register all the handsets by placing them into the base for 10 seconds each, that should take care of the problem,,,Good Luck.

2 uniden cordless phones aren't working

I always tell people NOT to buy new batteries to try and fix their cordless phone. It seems to rarely solve the problem and you are usually better off just spending the money on a new phone. Unfortunately 5 years is a long time for cordless phones these days. There are so many brands, and so many thousands of models, it's impossible to keep track of them all.
