Where is the model & serial numbers

Hello Mark,

Some weapons...
depending on their make, vintage and model don't have any
such marks. It is the ABSOLUTE responsibility of the user to KNOW WHAT they are picking up.

If the numbers have been ILLEGALLY removed... you are entering FELONY territory... and that is NOT the DANGEROUS part of weapons handling!!

PLEASE...Just note this:

Your are a novice... and asking questions... That is wonderful. If you are interested... there is a wealth of information available but in this area a MENTOR has always been the best way to learn.

If you ARE fully knowledgeable on MAKEs & MODELs by sight... you do stand a SNOWBALL'S chance of handling weapons safely.

ALWAYS Have someone CHECK YOU OUT on each unfamiliar weapon you EVER touch.

Your foremost concern is how to assure it is unloaded...
and totally cleared so you don't shoot yourself... or worse... others.

First check out your locally applicable laws & codes... then for safety courses on firearms (sportsman, rod & gun clubs), armorers and gunsmiths are a wonderful resource.

Be informed... be safe, live safe.

Binoculars make a GREAT first "Telescope"!

For beginners in the Astronomy hobby we usually recommend that they buy a nice pair of either 7x50mm binoculars, or 10x50mm binoculars as their first 'telescope".

Additionally they should buy one or two Astronomy books, one of which should be a star chart. You will use the star chart and the binoculars to learn a little bit about the night sky BEFORE you buy your first telescope.

Good books:

Objects in the Heavens by Peter Birren-

Sky & Telescope Star Atlas-

Turn Left at Orion-

Spend a few months learning the sky with the binoculars and JOIN a local Astronomy club. The members will help you learn the sky and you will get to look through their telescopes and decide on which one you should purchase. Did you know that the Astronomical League gives awards for completing several different observations using binoculars! Join your local AL Astronomy club to learn about observing awards using only binoculars!

I cant see anything on my tasco, should i used it at night only?

During the day time take the scope outside and practice focusing on a distant object. Use ONLY the eyepiece with the largest number written on it. Once you learn to focus that eyepice try another one.

Objects in the night sky are tiny and the scope must be pointed directly at them or you will not see anything.

Try to find a local Astronomy club and the members will help you.

Enabling a extension to ring on night mode

We may need to know the exact system you are using and the model of phone.

Also we will need to know the group number the system is using for night mode. Normally group number 601 is day and 602 is night. If you call 602 that would ring the phones currently in night. Also you can try calling at night and watch the screen of the phone that rings if its a smaller screen phone press the info button while its ringing and one of the options will show the night ring group number as well.
Respond to this and I can further help.

Not sure were i can learn to use my slr cam

There are a number of ways you can get to know how to use your camera (apart from reading the manual of course!). A quick Google on the web brought up some examples: provide 'how-to' workshops around the country

Your local further education college may run courses (that's the route I took)

or there may be a camera club locally to you (your local library may have details about this) where new members are welcomed and encouraged

Just a few ideas - good luck!

I have bought a Vivitar Reflector telescope and could not find instruction. Where I can find it to resolve a problem?

If it is like the picture you posted it is a refractor style telescope on an Alt Az mount. Very simple to use -- left and right--- up and down.

However you also need a star chart to find things in the sky-- download one for free at:

Also try to find a local Astronomy club and attend some of their meetings and star parties. Your first sky object should be the moon -- the next time it is up at night.

Jupiter and Venus are also up right now.... check the star chart above.
