It seems by the number of people asking for help logging in to Yahoo mail that Yahoo are having some kind of problem with there servers.
This is most likely not a problem with your computer but is a problem at Yahoos side.
This will most likely repair itself over the next few hours as Yahoo either finish the work they are carrying out of fix the problem they are having.
if you are using the Environment of Yahoo mail then switch back to Yahoo Mail Classic.....if it does not slove your problem then try to open yahoo mail on new browser....i would recommend Google Chrome.
I have had the same problem as you in nthe past and this is what I did to fix it. Install the latest version of Yahoo Messenger and try again. If that fails, install a third party instant messenger such as Trillian http://www.trillian.im/download/ and log into your yahoo account using that. Once you have done that then try again to log in using normal yahoo messenger.
I have experienced this same pop-up. I have been a Yahoo mail client for the past 14 years and I can tell you with a certain level of confidence that this is something you don't need to worry a about. It's a conflict between the yahoo mail server and the yahoo messenger server.
