2006 grand am starts by its self won't shut off

What after market products do you have , if any ? Have you done any electrical repairs ? Could be a ignition switch problem , GM has had switch problems for sure . The starting of your vehicle is computer controlled by the BCM - body control module . The ignition switch could be sending a wrong input to the BCM ,causing it to start .Power to many of this vehicle's circuits are controlled by the module that is designated the power mode master (PMM). This vehicle PMM is the body control module (BCM). The PMM controls which power mode (Run, Accessory, Crank, Retained Accessory Power, or Off) is active.
Serial Data Power Mode
On vehicles that have several control modules connected by serial data circuits, one module is the power mode master (PMM). On this vehicle, the PMM is the body control module (BCM). The PMM receives 3 discrete ignition switch signals to differentiate which power mode will be sent over the Serial Data circuits. The table below illustrates the state of these inputs in correspondence to the ignition switch position: If this came to the dealer I work at the first thing I would check is the ignition switch inputs to the BCM . I would use Tech 2 , GM factory scan tool .

Relay Controlled Power Mode
The body control module (BCM) uses the discrete ignition switch inputs ignition 1, ignition 3 and crank to distinguish the correct power mode. Once the BCM has determined the power mode selected by the vehicle operator it will energize the Ignition relay, Run relay and retained accessory power (RAP) relay, depending on which power mode is selected.

good luck !

2006 Dodge Dakota 4x4 SLT Body Control Module location

I have a manual for a 2004 Dakota that is probably similar to the 2006 electrically. Dodge never called it a Body Control Module; earlier models did have the Central Timer Module (CTM) which functioned like Body Control Modules in other manufacturers vehicles.
In 2004, the CTM was replaced by the Integrated Power Module (IPM), which consists of the Front Control Module and Power Distribution Center, and is located next to the battery on the left inner fenderwell (the Front Control Module is underneath the Power Distribution Center, where you will find relays and fuses). There are several other modules which control various functions, and they communicate with each other through the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus circuit, also called J1850.
The Front Control Module controls all exterior lights, except brake lights and turn signals, and the windshield wiper functions. Other modules (PCM, TCM, antilock brakes, heated seats, instrument cluster, power locks/power windows/power mirrors, etc) control other functions, but all communicate through the PCI bus.

I have aa 2007 chev her with 2.22 liter some of the fuses don't get power and some do on the fuse box block under hood everything to start and run car is dead

2007 Chevy her ? HHR ? 2.2L 4cylinder , check the run/crank relay ! Relay # 51 in the under hood fuse/relay box.
Power to many of this vehicle?€™s circuits are controlled by the module that is designated the power mode master (PMM). This vehicle?€™s PMM is the body control module (BCM). The PMM controls which power mode (Run, Accessory, Crank, Retained Accessory Power, or Off) is active.
Run/Crank Relay The run/crank relay control circuit is connected to a constant ground and is switched by the ignition 1 circuit or the body control module (BCM). The BCM, will in lieu of the ignition switch position, activate the Run/Crank relay during a remote start event. The Run/Crank relay supplies a power signal to the following circuits, when the a Run or Crank power mode is selected:
?€¢
Automatic transmission shift indicator

?€¢
Automatic transmission (A/T)

?€¢
Switched power feeds to the BCM

?€¢
Electronic brake control module (EBCM)

?€¢
Electronic ignition module (spark control)

?€¢
Electronic power steering module (EPS)

?€¢
Fuel injectors

?€¢
Powertrain control module (PCM)

?€¢
Park neutral position (PNP) switch

Where is the body control module on 2006 HHR

Body Control Module (BCM)
Under the I/P below the radio on the right side of the center console.
Do you know what the purpose of the BCM is ?
The body control module (BCM) has a bussed electrical center integrated into the housing. Body control relays and fuses are installed directly on the BCM, which simplifies wiring and junction blocks on the vehicle. The body control system consists of the BCM and its associated controls. Battery positive voltage is provided to the BCM from IBCM BATT 1 fuse and the IBCM BATT 2 fuse in the underhood fuse block. The module grounds are wired to ground G201, G203 and G305. The BCM is wired to the GMLAN High speed serial data buss, and the GMLAN Low speed serial data buss, as well as discrete input and output terminals to control the functions of the vehicle's body.
Serial Data Gateway
The body control module (BCM) in this vehicle functions as a translator between the High and Low speed GMLAN busses. The 2 communication protocols use the BCM to translate communicated serial data messages between the control modules over the 2 serial data busses.
Power Mode Master
This vehicles body control module (BCM) functions as the power mode master (PMM). Refer to Power Mode Description and Operation for a complete description of power mode functions.
Serial Data Power Mode Master
On vehicles that have several control modules connected by serial data circuits, one module is the power mode master (PMM). On this vehicle, the PMM is the body control module (BCM). The PMM receives 3 discrete ignition switch signals to differentiate which power mode will be sent over the Serial Data circuits. The 3-wire Ignition Switch table below illustrates the state of these inputs in correspondence to the ignition switch position:
Relay Controlled Power Mode
The body control module (BCM) uses the discrete ignition switch inputs Off/Run/Crank, Accessory, and ignition 1, to distinguish the correct power mode. The ignition 1 circuit is also routed to the Run/Crank relay for relay controlled power feeds during the appropriate power mode. The BCM, after determining the desired power mode, will activate the appropriate relays for that power mode.
Reprogram the body control module (BCM) after replacement. Refer to Control Module References .

I HAVE POWER BUT THE CONTROL PANEL HAS NO POWER

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Check Power
Check the outlet by plugging an appliance into the same outlet the washer was plugged into an running the appliance a hair dryer works good for this it will draw some amperage. If it works fine move on.

Control
To check the control remove the top panel and then remove the console to access the wiring to the control. Find the wire feeding the control from the main power cord. If you cannot visually see this refer to the tech sheet or service manual. Connect voltmeter to the 2 wires feeding the control if it is recieving power and it does not respond replace the control.

Power windows and locks do not work

The power windows are protected by 50A fuse 12 in the power distribution center. The orange/white wires from the PDC go to the driver door module and the pasenger door module. The driver door module controls the front power window motor directly and applies power to the driver rear power window switch to allow passenger control of the rear power window. Similarly, The passenger door module controls the front power window motor directly and applies power to the passenger rear power window switch to allow passenger control of the rear power window. BUT, operations can be computer controlled as part of the access control/theft deterrent system.

The power door locks also are protected by 50A fuse 12 in the power distribution center. The orange/white wires from the PDC also go to the driver door module and the pasenger door module. The driver door module controls the driver door lock motor/ajar switch. The passenger door module controls the passenger front door lock motor/ajar switch and supplies power for rear seat passenger control of the left and right rear door lock motor/ajar switches.

In short, if power from the fuse is getting to the door modules all windows and doors should work. If not, there may be a defect in the modules, the separate control switches, or even in the motors.

I have LL43 on dispaly

If this does not work place a service call.
Power printer on and off. Make sure you power OFF the printer before powering OFF the Controller, and power ON the printer before you power ON the Controller.
  1. Power OFF the printer. The power switch is located directly to the left of where the power cable enters the machine.
  2. If you have a Controller installed, power OFF the Controller. Not all printers are equipped with a Controller. The Controller power switch is located just above the power switch.
  3. Wait at least 10 seconds.

NOTE: Powering OFF, and then ON again too quickly will result in a software error.

  4. Power ON the printer.
  5. Power ON the Controller.
  6. Switch the A / B button to the ON position. The button will be in the out position and the green light will be ON.

NOTE: Not all machines have the A / B Switch installed.
