Question about Konica Minolta bizhub C351 All-In-One Laser Printer
Having difficulty getting the BizHub to send scans to Macs. The BizHub did not come with any manual for advanced setup. The Macs print TO the BizHub, but cannot get the IP addressing (or some other setting) correct to transmit to the Macs. Looking for reference manuals or known tricks.
First, int the mac must have the "share for windows" checked, in the network settings.
second, you'll have to create a folder name SCAN into the 'home' folder onto your mac. then , you ll have to have your user and password of your mac.
then, you ll have to enter in the bizhub:
- Ip of your mac
- gateway of your mac
- mask of your network
on the copier
- in the utiliy/counter // register 1 touch, book adress, SMB (don t remeber exactly the path .. but just not so far of these paths), :
IP server: Ip mac
path : SCAN
password: password of the user's mac (CAN NOT BE EMPTY)
and ormally, that's all folks :-)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
