Question about Nikon D40x Digital Camera
My D40X was left 'on' for a month or so. I went to take some photos yesterday and found that although the LCD shows the menu information, no 'live' view image was displayed. Got a solution?
Push ring circling OK button to up or down positions and LCR display will change showing info or image.

To my knowledge you can't see a live view on D40X. You can only look through the viewfinder.
Don't think any digi SLRs allow this?

Try pressing the "info" button on the top of the camera, next to the shutter button. This turns the LCD on and off to save the battery life.
