Question about Whirlpool Kitchen Ranges
I have whirlpool range Model #RS675PXEQ2. I ran a self-clean on the oven and now it will not heat. Electronic display shows code EO -FO- Is there a reset---please advise. Also, the temp now starts at 350 and when either the up or down error is touched, the temp numbers continue to go lower. The clock works, cooling fan works, the pre-heat function cycles completes, but the oven does not heat. What can I do to fix.

Oliversmom, Im not coming up with any information on the model number posted. However on the kitchenaid the F0 E0 is default for no error. Press the cancel button to put the range in idle state. Then in this order press cancel-cancel-start. See if an error code comes up different from the F0 E0. The F0 is what is throwing this whole deal off. If it was F1, F2, F3 etc...it would make more sense. See if you have a complete model number you can post along with the error code after doing the above key dance. We'll see if we can solve the issue....Catriver..post back.

Unless they start working again after it has a chance to dry out the touch panel will have to be replaced. This happens when excess moisture gets between the very thin layers of the membrane.

it means anolog to digital failure. try dissconnect for 30 sec then reconnect if this fails then you may need a new controler

On this website: http://www.repairclinic.com/0078.asp#Whirlpool , it shows all of the codes for the Whirlpool errors. Based on the remarks, if it shows a "4 digit failure code" it is "Shorted
"Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)"
But verify this as I am not an appliance repair specialist. I am a computer nerd who just knows how to find information. I am actually trying to figure out an answer to my own problem with my Whirlpool Gold Accubake.
