Nes flashing black and white and making a horrible sound

Nes console nes console

I wonder if anyone can help me, i recently bought a NES console from Ebay, im aware of the flashing red light problem and have sorted that one out, but when im playing a game about 10 mins into it the screen starts to flash into black and white and make some sort of beeping sound everytime it flashes. im still able to play the game but it is really annoying with the flashing going on. I just thoght you may of heard of this problem before and maybe have a way of sorting it. Ive repalced the 72 pin and cleaned the games also ive replaced the ac adaptor. could it be something to do with the curcuit board?

A 'front load' nes ALWAYS does this, even if the connector pins inside the console are new. the cartriges on a Front Load nes rarely completely seat, as Nintendo redesigned the Famicom very poorly for the US market. try this 1. put the cart in as usual, but hold it all the way down 2. slip an unwanted/extra cart in on top of the metal hoop above the cart your using. this gives a better contact for the cart. try cleaning the cartrige pins as well. some won't read right if there's ANYTHING on the pins.

Nes wonnt turn on, but when it does red light is flashing

Did you replace the 72 pin connector while it was apart? This is the number 1 reason for NES to fail to load or flash. A brief search of "72 pin connector" on eBay should net you a new connector for about $5 US.
If you have already done this, and the problem is really bad then recheck your work and make sure everything is connected tight.
Also consider that allot of nes games were not taken care of very well, so if the problem is specific to a couple cartridges, consider cleaning them as they are probably not connecting well.
Good luck.

Won't power on

Well those 3 way adapters are bad news then use an offical NES ac adapter for ensured quality.

NINTENDO NES FRONT LOADER POWER LIGHT FLASHING RED WITHOUT AND WITH GAME IN LOOKS LIKE NEW 72 PIN CONNECTOR INSIDE BOUGHT RECENTLY HAVE NOT SEEN IT WORKING YET IF NEW CONECTOR WHAT OTHER FAUL COULD IT BE...

you should open your nes and disable the regional lockout chip.
a911e61.jpg while in there, check the connector and 1) if it is new, make sure it is properly connected to the board, or 2)if its old, use a very small eyeglasses flathead screwdriver to pull pins closer in (1mm-2mm) to a uniform level.

Porblem with my recently purchased nes

Make sure your tv is set to the correct input mode. Also, if the power light is flashing with a game in it's because the 72 pin connector for the games in the console is dirty and worn out. You need to install a new one AND clean your games. Dirty games will just transfer dirt to the new connector.
