Kawasaki 29hp FI liquid cooled - after 30+minutes engine smothers

This is on a Cub Cadet m60 ztr mower. After mowing for at least 30 minutes the engine smothers like it is running out of gas. Fuel filter appears ok and it runs strong for a good while before the first event. After it starts smothering, I let up and let it catch up but iit does it again and the again at shorter intervals.
I had previously used an on line manual but can no longer find it.

Might be worth looking to see if you've got a bit of water in your fuel. Next time it suffers, crack open the drain on the bottom of the carburretor float bowl and see what comes out.

If it doesn't smell very strongly of gas right from the outset, it isn't gas.

To deal with it, see if your fuel filter has a water drain at the bottom. If it does, then you probably just need to empty it a bit more often. If it doesn't, then drain your fuel system completely (start at the tank, finish at the carb) then refuel with freshly bought gas.

Cub Cadet HDS-2135 13B-214F100, runs great for 45 - 60 minutes then cuts out, only run on full choke, cannot mow but runs. Cools down works fine again

check the fuel filter and fuel line. it may need to be insulated to protect from heat. running on choke means it is starving for fuel . take the carburetor off and clean it real good. be sure the fuel lines are away from heat source.

Why would my belt on my cub cadet 1046 mower keep popping off?

Did you put all the belt keepers back on? I find a lot of DIYers usually leave one off thinking it is not important.

It sounds to me that you have something in your gas tank that is intermittently plugging your gas feed hole. Inspect in your tank for something floating around in there and pull it out.

I have a series model 1018 cub cadet with electric mower deck. After mowing for about 45 minutes, I turned off the tractor for a few minutes. When I tried to restart, the battery was dead. I jumped started...

If you have access to an electric voltmeter, with it running check voltage at the battery. The engine should charge the battery and maintain system voltage so that the electic PTO will function. The electic PTO will not pull in if system voltage is too low.

Need a new lawn mower! what would you buy? and why... thanks, jana I'm over and under whelmed depending on the marketing or consumer reviews I'm reading.

Well I do now know if you want a riding mower and how much yard you are mowing. If you are mowing 1 acre or more and the land is fairly level I would recommend a Dixon or Bad Boy ZTR mower. The Bad Boy sells for $4,999 at Tractor Supply and is a well built heavy duty mower. The Dixon will be slightly cheaper and it also a quality mower. The Cub Cadet & Husqvarna are cheaply built mowers that sell for less but are not dependable. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a push mower then the Cub Cadet is a decent mower for the price and the Honda is a top notch quality mower that sells for much more.
