Question about Xerox Phaser 8500/DN Printer
The display screen is not available for us to get to the diagnostics menu. Does anyone know how to get the screen back??
The control panel has gone bad and must be replaced (part# 848K06552). This is a pretty easy fix. Here is a video that shows you how to replace this part. Iteminc.com has these in stock and ships same day

I have the same problem.
I don't know why
Xerox gave me a new display on the warranty.
(even if the guarantee had been exhausted)
They said it was a fairly common problem
