You should get the name of the contractor and any other information on them you can get. Then call your local phone company and let them know what has happened, that way they will repair the line and bill the contractor for the repair's..

Most wireless companies will work with you to be able to change the Due Date. You will need to contact the wireless provider directly at their customer service line and they will set a cycle change for you to target a general due date in the month, usually between the 1st and the 28th. As a general rule, when the change is made, you will end up with a short cycle or a long cycle, depending on how the company operates. A short cycle would, for example, have a normal bill due on say, the 5th, and then a smaller bill due on the target date (like the 10th). A long cycle would have a normal bill due on the 5th, then skip the next 5th bill due date and have a larger than normal bill due on new due date. The customer service representative at the company will be able to explain the process to you directly.

A contractor is a person/company that performs the work for you directly. A subcontractor is a person/company that works for the contractor. Most often the subcontractor work for a general contractor, the general contractor usually performs no more than 30% of the work that he was contracted to do. The other 70% goes to the sub.

You cannot do this on the normal account register, as you might have done in earlier versions of Quicken. You have to use two special registers, by creating a BUSINESS BILLS and a CUSTOMER INVOICES register. To do this tap the CREATE NEW ACCOUNT button, in the MY FINANCES screen, and select these registers from the dialogue box. When you receive a payment from a customer, open the CUSTOMER INVOICES register. Then... 1. Tap the TYPE box, and choose INVOICE from the drop down list. This will enter INVC into the box. 2. Look at the button under the BALANCE column. Instead of the usual SPLIT button, this is now labelled FORM. Click on this, and a Customer Invoice Form will appear. Fill in the details from the invoice you have received. Under AMOUNT enter the amount received, less VAT. In the V column, enter the symbol for the appropriate VAT RATE, and Quicken will calculate and enter the VAT amount. 3. When you have completed all the required boxes on the form, click the SAVE AND DONE button, and The form will close. 4. You will see that Quicken has entered the details in the correct Registers. I 5. When you produce your VAT REPORT your item will appear with its details in the correct places. What the heck are you compiling it with that doesn't give a line number for that error? Pay attention to the titles of messageboxes! Perhaps noting what lines you changed from the original will give a clue to narrow it down, but I expect you addressed an object with a property (object.property) in a context that can't be expected to generate or use that property as you gave it. Moreover there are spaces in object names, it seems....
