Hi Betty Jean, my name is Mike Houston a Social MediaRepresentative at DISH Network. All of our HD receivers and our SD DVRreceivers have an optical connection, allowing you to connect from your soundbar to the receiver. You can connect the sound bar directly to your TV (witheither RCA cables or Optical Cable); this will give the sound bar audio on all components.I will provide the owners manual for your sound bar. The woofer speaker did not come with a fuse. It is one of the old style glass ones. Do you know what size to get. I tried several an one it too short or the other to long and I can't get the little cap to...

I'm assuming it was secondhand? If so if it didn't have a fuse, then getting a new one is the least of your problems. Fuses blow to protect the device from fire caused by an overload. The fact that no-fuse was found with it means the device was faulty and blowing every one that was fitted, by it's previous owner. So the chances are that the sub is faulty to begin with.
In any case it's not the size of the glass fuse that's important, but the rating in amps or "MA" and the voltage. Please do not attempt to fit any fuse till you find this out. The only way you can do this is to find the service manual. You can look for that on the web or you can try Manuals In PDF.
You might need it anyway, because I suspect when you fit one it will blow again.

Sub woofer speaker blows both 5A fuses whenever I turn the speaker on
maybe the voltage setting is wrong. check to make sure it matches your home voltage setting.
maybe try a 10amp fuse, but have a fire extinguisher handy ;)

Subwoofer for Teac AG-D8800 Receiver

speakers are suitable to any amplifier, exept for the rating of it. (wattage) sometimes there are some speakers that are voltage needed. well you can use it as a subwoofer output for your tv for better sound.
just buy a aux splitter for the two amplifier, so that you could use them both.
hope I helped you for this.. have funn.^^
