When plugging in the heater the egniter will come on, the fuel will start to spray and the the fan will kick on. ( normal ) Then it will start smoking and keep trying to kick on, Then shut off due to the smoke. If I take the top cover off it will work fine. Just will not blow out as much heat from the front.

- Mine will run for awhile when left unused for a few days and start running and quit. I have cleaned and checked the fuel filter, adjusted the fuel pressure to 5#, checked for air leaks, cleaned lens on photo cell. It has nice strong ignition spark. Why when I put top on will only run for a few minuets??? - aalimoman
