Question about American DJ Dyno-Fog-II Fog Machine W/ Remote System
Won't respond to remote inputs, it heats up as it should and it does put out small whiffs of fog, but 'no stream of fog' on demand.
Was told on phone by ADJ it was the "low level sensor" gone bad.( based on: pushing down on fog tank, green shut-off light on unit stays on.)
Went to ADJ, and while waiting in line for repairs, talked to a guy who said he had multiple units and had talked to someone at ADJ and was told you can bypass the sensor, just connect the sensor wires back on themselves completing the circuit ( bypassing the sensor).
Tried that, it made NO difference. Green Light stays on, still no fog!
I really don't wont to have to replace it, it's just, out of warranty, 1 year old.
Also, "is this unsafe", assuming you don't run it low on fog juice?
(I would rather replace it, if this a potential fire hazard!

Sounds like the pump either is not working or can't inject the fog fluid ( solution of distilled water & glycerin ). My unit clogged up, so I took it apart and cleaned out the lines. Be sure to run pure distilled water through unit, after each use.
