You can add more line to the coil. Do not impede the air flow or the ability to close the drawer. Not a factory recommended action though.

No, it will let you fill more glasses w cold water. Sorry I miss understood your request. The flow is dictated by the flow rate of the water valve.

Water dispenser slowing to nothing.

Hi montyva,
It sounds like either your water supply to the refrigerator is becoming slower or your inlet valve is defective. You can take the water lined loose behind the refrigerator and run it into a bucket or bowl to check the flow rate. If the water pressure is good replace your intet vavle and the problem will be solved. The inlet valve is the small piece your water line hooks to. It has two plugs on it and a couple water lines. This is an easy repair assuming you can pull out the refrigerator. The part numer for the inlet valve is WR57X10032 the price is $48.68 and available for shipping.
One other possible problem could be the water cooling tank behind the crisper drawers is freezing and water is being blocked. You can take out the drawers and defrost the tank with a hair dryer just to make sure that this is not the problem. If it is frozen, turn your temp control down for the freshfood side of the refrigerator. I hope this will FixYa. Let me know if you have anymore problems. Or if you need me to ship you a part. Water line

That coil is the line to the water dispenser, and its purpose is to chill the water before dispensing it. The coil of tubing is better than a tank because it chills quickly, takes less space and doesn't hold stagnant water. It shouldn't have any effect on the icemaker.

Refrigerator doesnt dispen water

Hey it could be freezing in the tank. I just learned that the tank is in the refrigerator behind the crisper drawers under a plastic sleeve (attached w/two screws) . It can get too cold in the tank since there is a vent from the freezer pointing right on the tank that cools it. I defrosted mine by taking a heating pad and wrapping it around the tank for a few hours. I had to leave the crisper out, but oh well. I wish the slow water was my only problem!

No water from dispenser

I could not locate any white tank where the water comes to/from. There is only a clear plastic water line behind the crisper drawers, that is coiled up and goes up to the water filter at the top on one end, and down through the bottom of the fridge on the other. The coiled line seemed like perhaps it was frozen, so I took a hair dryer to that but it didn't help. I also tried removing the cardboard cover in the bottom back of the fridge, to see if perhaps the white tank was back there, but it was only
more line, which goes towards the front of the fridge, where it goes up into the corner of the door.
