Yes, We have Verizon FIOS now. Set it up with Aux 1 or 2, using the red, white and yellow cables. It will work, but you may need to find a way around the remote issues. My Fios remote does not turn it on or volume control, so I have two remotes, working on a solution to that one!
Yesterday I called Dynex at 1-800-305-2204. The rep gave me 0463 which didn't work when I called VERIZON FIOS but the Dynex rep did inform me during the call that if it didnt that Dynex is comparible with Orian, Emerson, Memorex, Sansui, Sylvania and Zenith. So any of these tv codes should work. The code of Orian which is 0490 indeed worked!!!! And when you call Verizon make sure when they help you program your remote that they do the second step if they dont tell you which is add the code 799 which will let you just push STB then Power to cut on/off the tv. My bedroom tv, I always pretty much had to use the tv remote to cut on and off but when the Verizon rep gave me that step for the original tv I was having problems with told me this step, I had her walk me through the other tv remote and add that code and its great. She said that alot of technicians just been taught the other way. Hope this info help you.
that is weird... try to unplug the box and shut off the router believe it or not the router will affect the tv. and then turn them both back on and see how that works other wise call 888-553-1555... they will walk you through it on the phone. trust me my guys r good.
I am a Verizon tech and the remotes we use work for Vizio sets just fine. If for some reason the remote wont work and he tried 3 different ones then it has to be your set. I set FIOS up all day and have no trouble with those TVs
I just got FIOS and had an Olevia 237 TV. Tried the LG, Phillips, RCA and Yamaha codes, no luck so I tried this:
- press and hold TV key - still holding TV key, press the OK key and release both, device keys blink - press 922 - point remote at TV and press play button - press next button (two arrows pointing to right) about 325 times until the TV goes off.
