Need to know how to key my own lock

Hi,
I recently got a job with a company that requires me to install a new door lock on every house i go to ( about 30 a week). Instead of paying to have them keyed, or the time it takes, I would like to do it myself. They all have to be keyed to a kwikset code 67767. Can you point me in the rite diresction? Thanks.

You have to master key all these locks to the same number? - and you've just published this master key code ?

    Glad you're not on my team - you're a liability !

I would suggest proper training - paid for by your company. - Unless you lied on your CV ?

Try www.bargainlocks.com for keyed-alike door locks and deadbolts as well as other supplies you might need, check them out, they are great to work with, ship things out ASAP and get them to me on time, and have free shipping if you need alot of locks, I've used them a couple times and have never been let down.

Go to MFSSupply.com. You can buy locks by the case or single locks and deadbolts that are already keyed to this code. They are about $6 a piece,or you can get them a little cheaper if you bu them by the case.

Contact the builder of the doors of the Summerhouse or go to the lock companies website. There may have been a faulty batch or known fault identified on these locks you have fitted.

Professional Door Lock installation Kit: After 2-3 years all of the sudden none of our keys...

The lock is bad very common problem with them, If you got 2-3 years out of your "smartkey" lock those things are like dinosaurs most of them don't make it 3 months and this problem happens. Get the traditional pin tumbler version of the Kwikset lock and this will never happen again. Plus it will be an easy swop out since they use the same latch.

Kwikset Smart Key Deadbolt Won't Unlock

Kwikset Smart Key locks are complete junk. I am a locksmith and I am constantly going from house to house replacing these "dumb key" locks with original kwikset pin tumbler locks. What happens is either your key or the wafers inside the lock wear slightly, slightly enough to cause your keys to not turn, and since these locks cannot be picked due to a side bar system, they must be drilled off and thrown away when this happens Unless you have another access point to get in the house. If you do remove lock from the inside, throw it in the trash, buy original kwikset and replace.

I cannot remove the door lock to replace it.  It is a screwless type but i dont know the brand

generally, you remove the faceplate on the thin side of the door... there should be 2 screws there... then you'll see 2 holes on another faceplate underneath that one, which require an allen key of the right size... if your lucky you'll see a flathead bolt that can be loosened... then put your key only partially into the deadbolt and turn it counterclockwise and it will come out into your hand... then replace it or rekey it.

Lost keys to security gates living in a mews

If this is a shared entrance - you need to contact the main keyholder - maybe a grounds management company. Most systems like this operate under a restricted profile key system. New keys are only issued against signatures.

If it is just your own property - Provide proof of this to a registered locksmith for them to change locks.
