Question about LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone
My daughter just got an Envy 2 and she carries it in her pocket. It randomly dials phone numbers (last calls and others in her contact list) probably because the OK button is being pushed unlocking the phone.
Is there a way to set a keyguard on her phone where she has to enter a series of numbers to unlock it rather than just having to press "ok"?
On the front keypad, press the ok button until you have the option to select contact list. Scroll down that list until you see keyguard settings. Press ok to enter keyguard settings and then go to option 2 - unlock options. Select two step unlock. This will force the user to press "ok" and then "clr" in order to dial out. This has resolved the problem for me...Good luck.

I had the same problem with my ENV 2 with pocket dialing. If your software is an older version, like VO4, or VO5, it needs to be upgraded to have the 2 step keypad feature. (need to hit OK, then CLR) You need to go to your Verizon store to have the software updated, which takes just a few minutes. To check your software version, goto settings and tools, option 0 phone info, option 2 SW/HW version. The latest version is VX910V07.

On the ENVY 2 you can set a two step unlock ... just go and press the outside okay button then scroll down, you will see options for this ... now instead of hitting just the okay button to unlock you have to hit the okay and clear button .. its alittle bit more protection.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
