You don't make the seed, you find them all over is strategic places. Some of the seeds you can pick up and take with you...very handy. You need to collect certain tokens that will allow you to change the plant that comes out of it. Look in lower right corner of your screen and you will see what it's capable of making...then use the Z button to toggle it between the different plants. When you get to the plant you want, do a super jump...hit jump twice, slamming down on the seed to crack it open. This is all explained in the first area of the game..."Training Arena".

Hi we just bought a nintendo 64 and plugged everything the red light comes on but when we insert the game it flickers then the screen turns dark green and nothing. We have plugged and replugged, cleaned...

I say your N64 is obsolete at this point. May I suggest playing N64 games on your PC. A rom is a game that is 'ripped' from a game cartridge or cd of a game console (usually a console generation earlier than the second latest.) An emulator is what you run the rom in. The emulator is what allows you to use your mouse, keyboard, etc. to play the game.
http://coolrom.com/ is a great source for roms. You can get roms for the N64, GBA, GBA, GB, GameCube, Nintendo DS and even some sega games! You search for your game, find it in the list of search results and download the game.
http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/n64/ This is a list of N64 emulators that are readily available for you to download.
http://www.emulator-zone.com/ This is the root site of the link above. Please feel free to check it out. There are several other lists of emulators for other game consoles, handheld and home gaming.
Thank you for choosing FixYa.:) Have a nice day (y)

Powered off N64 console in the middle of cheat code instructions. Now all I have is a green screen. How can I exit this mode?

Well the green screen means that the power supply piece inside of the console
is wearing out then.

Its fuzzy at the start and then resets over and over again

even though the adapters allow you to physically plug in the N64, the voltages/amps might be different. try to use a voltage converter, and please, don't let your N64 fry.

N64 Games Show Green-Grey Screen

Having a green/grey screen shows there is signs of life. I believe the power supply that's the problem. In my recent experience the following solution has helped me:

1.) Wiggle the power supply left & right two times. Now try and see if the Nintendo 64 works.

2.) If not, then disconnect and reconnect the power supply and wiggle the power supply left & right twice. Again, try and see if it works.

I hope it works for you!

You could go to google and put the name of the game and put walcktrough at the end. Well and search for the guide until you find it, i assure you the conrolls will be listed.

Convert it? Theres no way to convert it. Either the game(s) you have use the D-pad or not. Some though use both pads.
