SOURCE: microwave oven will not work

Seems like I've answered this before, but the MR5493G is subject to a recall due to defective keypad (membrane switch) and can be seriously dangerous.

See: www.allworldauto.com/recalls/samsung_microwave_mr5493g_recalls_1420-10455-1.html

The MR1032BB is also under recall. See: www.motorbeat.com/model/samsung+microwave/mr1032bb/

If neither is covered under the recall, you should be able to order new keypads here: http://www.samsungparts.com/search/search.asp

If not, we'd be happy to help you. You'll find a link to our site in our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

My SMH9151W Samsung Microwave displays a -SE- or a -5E- and will not operate. I unplugged over night and still will not operate

I had the same issue on a 2010 smh9151w samsung microwave after installing it and using it with no problem for 5 days. The second time we unplugged the microwave and turned the circuit breaker off and on we didn't reset the clock on the microwave so the display shows :0 and it has been working for 7 days straight now. Fingers crossed that this is a long term solution. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Try to set the clock on my samsung MR1032BB microwave in my 2003 Georgie Boy Pursuit motorhome. It sets and then after 3 minutes it starts beeping and gives the numbers 8888 and 6666 and you can't...

Yes it is on recall and asks that you don't use it, as well as unplug unit if at all possible, and if not, leave door ajar and don't store anything in it.Here's a number to call at Samsung.

Hi there, I've just moved into a new apartment and the Samsung Timesaver microwave seemed to be working fine yesterday, but it has been beeping at odd times for no reason. I turned the power off to stop...

Hi, this is usually a bad touchpad. The way to tell for sure is to kill power to the unit, take the control panel down and unplug the ribbon connector that connects touchpanel to the clock. Put it back together and reapply power. The clock will just sit there blinking and, obviously, the buttons won't work, either. if the beeping stops, then the touch panel is bad. And If it still beeps, then you have a bad clock.
