Blackberry 8110 - cant receive bluetooth stuff

My friend has a Blackberry 8110, we have tried to send music and pics from my Nokia to her phone via bluetooth, but her Blueberry keeps saying failed. When we try to set up the automatic bluetooth connection between our phones that also won't work.
We've tried with another Nokia phone to her phone but got the same problem.
Any ideas/solutions, please?

Have 3 blackberry 8110, I want to add music, so I go to music, and click on Recieve Using Bluetooth...it then says waiting for connection...so, on the Sony I have, I find it and send to blackberry, sony says " waiting for other device to accept...on blackberry it says "please choose where you wish to save file...wtf? I click on folder, it just opens up folders, I click to select where I want it, I go to save, it says transfer failed, I click cancel, the same thing...I do not believe that the Blackberry 8110 is capable of sending and recieving...like I said, I have three, NONE will accept anything...I did, however, manage to send phonebook...but that's as far as I have been.

I had the same problem with the 8110 it wouldnt connect to any phone I tried Nokia, Samsung etc even another BB. It would pair but sending would fail. The solution make some room. It doesnt tell you when its full or even that you cant send because its full it just fails. Empty of some media files , mp3`s etc or get an expansion card to put them on then it will work.

My blackberry 8520 stops reciving music halfway through when using bluetooth

firstly check to see if the format of the music you are sending is correct.
secondly make sure devices are both paired together
thirdly and most importantly make sure your blackberry device can receive the bluetooth connection. this is usually done by going to menu>media>select music> options and scroll down and select receive file via bluetooth or something to that effect.
blackberrys are not straight forward when it comes to sending files via bluetooth. hope this helps

Bluetooth wont work i cant receive data from other mobiles

soln 1 have u checked tryin to transfer data of pretty small sizes like an image? soln 2 1. On the receiving device, go to media, select what you'll be receiving (photos, ringtone, etc), press menu, then select receive using bluetooth.

2. On the sending device, send using bluetooth...

MUST BE DONE IN THAT ORDER!
soln3 Go to Applications, then choose Files. Then hit the menu button and scroll to Receive Using Bluetooth. Then on your computer choose the file you want to send and tell the computer to Send To Bluetooth device. It works! Halleluiah!

My blackberry bold 9700 bluetooth is not compatible with my laptop windows vista sp1. I am unable to transfer my pictures or music files to my blackberry via bluetooth. how do i solve this problem?

you have to select the option "receive via bluetooth" to be able to receive files to your phone. this can be done when you are in the media folder. press the menu button, then select "receive via bluetooth" when sending files from your pc/other phones.

Can send, but can NOT receive via bluetooth on BB 8110

I contacted the supplier and found out that the handset is faulty. As it was not a simple technical problem, they will exchange the handset- hopefully with a faultless one!
Thanks

Nokia 6288 will not send multimedia txt

If you are sending it via bluetooth,
ensure you have enough free phone memory.

If you are sending the stuff via MMS,
Ensure that the image is of appropriate memory size.

Also, tell me, by what method/way are you sending the image, so that I can help you better.

Please rate.
