    I PUT A BLANK TAPE IN MY CAMCORDER I HIT RECORD IT RECOREDS BUT WHEN YOU PLAY IT BACK IT ALL STATIC BUT YOU CAN HERE THE SOUND HOW DO I FIX IT THANK YOU

Ok.. Does the camera record video? If yes then its just a display problem.I would check to see if the LCD's connectors are in place and for loose contacts. If not you might have to get a new display. Should cost you around 50$ and is pretty easy to replace..

My jazz hdv178 hdmi wont show picture or record and wont charge what should i do


it will not charge with a USB cable
the company that made them went out of business.
therefore there is no support or chance to get parts
i went to a ebay store called suntek and bought a charger, 2 batteries for less than $7
and they all work
just go to the suntek store and look for a np 60 type charger.
this is the battery type and it will work.

CCD problem are common to camera manufacturer this days, have check with the service center of your brand.

My camera has like some kind of static in the screen


Have you tried cleaning the heads? It went away for me when I did this. buy cleaning tapes and follow directions.

Does camcorder show good picture in playback and does not give you live view to record?
or it does not power up?
Your post is not clear about porblme with camcorder and please intimate exact model number of camera too.

Between the hours of 9am-7pm EST. You can also use the customer support e-mail at www.consumerproducts@panasonic.com Give them the Brand name and model number of the palmcorder. Partial static in playback and record even after head cleaning


Replacing the cylinder with video heads part number A7048897A will cure the problem. If you need more help please advice. Arpi
