Question about Printers & Copiers

How can I move this plotter in three sections if possible?

I need to move it to our new facility and I would like to transport it but it is a tad to heavy as one piece and I am trying to take it in 2 or three sections if possible. Is there instructions how to do this?

Lease send your model number and manufacturer.  Most Large format machines break down to some degree but will still be heavy buly parts.

I looked over the different manuals and basic pictures.

The Aficio 240W can be configured in several different ways. The basic
Aficio 240W configuration is an optional table that allows manual feeding
of cut sheet paper. Or, it can be configured with an optional 500 foot paper roll
tray table or a two-roll tray table, either of which can have an optional paper
cassette tray added for automatic feeding of cut sheets up to 12” x 18”. Changing
paper rolls is simple and easy. The roll-changing system features lightweight
flange inserts for no-hassle roll changes.

I do not find ny real instructions on installing the feeder as pictured but I would bet that there are a minimum of 4 bolts/screws holding the table top to the base. If you havea maintenance person they should be able to seperate the untis fairly easily.

I can only confirm that they do come apart and when components are sold individual to consumers the assembly is usually somewhat easy.

    I hope this helps :)

Remove toner from oce 450 plotter

it shouldn't spill if left upright. you better be VERY careful with that unit, if the drum gets damaged it will cost ALOT of money to repair it. There may be a lever to disengage the drum blade so it doesn't abrade the drum. If you are unsure of what you are doing you may want to hire someone with experience.

With this type of plotter there really is very few possibilities. Replace the ink cartridge with a manufacturer original cartridge. If that doesn't work, change your paper. If still no print, send it back to Canon on a warranty replacement.

Error code E161-403F

I have had two of my Canon plotters give this error.message, I had to manually move the carriage unit and replace the printhead. On one of the plotters the error message returned, on the second plotter I was able to go into service mode where it asked me to replace the printhead. I just went though the motions since the printhead was brand new and I was able to get the plotter to function correctly.

Hello, the plotter should be seen in your print and fax preferences (apple menu, system preferences, print and fax): In the print and fax preferences panel, you can click on "+" at the bottom left of the window, you should see your plotter appear in the window, and click on the "add" button Best regards

Blurred on right side but fine on left

Difficult to say, but it sounds like you may have somehow dislodged a mirror, or somehow contaminated the optical section. You'll probably need to have it looked at.
