Question about Intel Motherboard
I need sum help on this i have a pentuim 4 motherboard that i use for my studies i was recently trying to check what ram type it was compatible with and when i put it back in the computer turns on but nothing comes on the screen i have tried removing and putting components back in i have usefull data on it that is very preciouse and don't want to lose please can anyone help.
BEFORE it stopped working i had installed service pack 3 and windows vista.
If it is only since removing the ram and re-inserting it that there is no display, try removing the ram again and re-inserting them 1 at a time then switching on to see if there is any display. Make sure the ram is firmly in place in its socket before switching on. Also you do not mention if there are any beeps coming from the internal speaker when switching on. These beeps sound different for different problems and the way it beeps can tell you where the problem lies.
