Download P2k advance editor from Extract it on your Computer. Then connect your phone via usb. run the P2kAE and select connect then go to services or something but its on the second. then go to video camera and select read from phone then increase the recording memory from 50Kb to 50Mb or higher if required you can also save videos in mp4 format. Note: don't go beyond the size of the memory card.

Hi How do I increase the length of time taking a video.

The time limit is set because the image sensor in the camera heats up. You need to give it some time to cool between shots. The record time is set so permanent damage will not happen to the image sensor. Sorry. That time cannot be changed.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 Digital Camera has a maximum video resolution of 640x480. Has anyone hacked the firmware so that the video resolution can be increased to 1280x720 or higher? And how to do...

Both are not possible. They're both due to hardware limitations. Video resolution is limited to the amount of data the camera can continually process, video shooting time is limited to prevent overheating. You have a digital stills camera which can shoot some video within fixed limitations, really aimed at shooting short low-res video suitable for sites like YouTube. If the H50 had greater video capability built-in, then Sony would not have left it untapped as the camera market is highly competitive.

If you want a camera which has a greater video capability then your only fix is to buy a different camera. many current digital stills cameras are now fully video capable at high resolution, but the prices of such models shows a huge hike. Look at the nearly doubled price between the Panasonic G1 and the GH1 for example, virtually the same camera but the GH1 has full HD video.

Sorry that this is not the answer you hoped for, but you now have a clear explanation why you cannot do as you wish and know what your options are if you wish to shoot HD video. Please take a moment to rate the free answer I have provided for you (bearing in mind that I am not responsible for the hardware limitations of your camera) and any testimonial which you might wish to add is always welcome!

The IXUS 200 IS is intended and designed as a still camera, not as a video camera.

Some countries charge higher tax rates for video cameras than they do for still cameras. By limiting the maximum length of video clips to ten minutes, this camera does not qualify as a video camera and thus is taxed at a lower rate.

When filming a video my camera shut down after 10 minutes, even though there was enough memnory for 6 hours of video. How do I change the settings so it will stay on until I shut it off?Its a Sony...

It is extremely unlikely that a digital camera has enough memory for 6 hours of video unless you are shooting at very low resolution and/or frame rates. Even highly compressed video eats MBs a second.
This camera has a built-in video time limit of 10 minutes.
Unless you know how to hack camera firmware, that's it.

Motorola RAZR V3i Camera Problem.

Hey cmxa,

It is possible that the flex connection in the phone has become loose. (seems to be a common problem with the v3's) Or worse, your camera module has gone bad. Is the unit still under warranty? Send the unit in for repair, and they should be able to resolve it quite quickly.

Hope this helps,

To record without any time limit. You can try to use AceThinker Free Screen Recorder. Aside from having no time limit, it also leaves no time limit in your screen recordings. It also captures the audio from your system and mic simultaneously. This tool also doesn't need installation or software download. You can get this app by clicking this link: Thanks!
