SOURCE: vaio vgn-sz430n upgrade to Win 7 from Vista

Yea, should not have a problem, but i do believe you will need to get the Nvidia drivers for windows 7. However, that should not be the case, when i did an upgrade I didn't need the drivers, I got them any way, so I will recommend to go to Nvidia website and get the drivers for the video card you have.

SOURCE: my sony vaio (VGN-FS515B) has audio drivers which

Download " Driver Genius pro" from the link below

Just install the software and let it update your drivers, and don't worry about anything just let it download the updates and let it install.

SOURCE: Sony VAIO VGN-CR320E Motion eye camera never

Have a look in device manager Press the Windows key (bottom left of the keyboard} and at the same time press the R key, now in the search box that appears - type devmgmt.msc
have a look under imaging systems click on the + sign and see if you have a Camera listed
Also on Sony they should have supplied an application for the camera maybe called ArcSoft WebCam Companion - see if you have that program folder - listed at all

Sony Vaio VGN-SR external monitor rotation problem I cant find a way to rotate 90 degrees the external monitor connected to my Vaio VGN-SR

The option to rotate is a driver option so if it is possible right click on your desktop and then do graphic properties or nvidia what ever driver you may be using for video. Since i do not know what exact model you have i can not look up what chipset it is using.

Nvidia 7400 card dowsnt work with windows 7

Here is the link from where you can download NVIDIA 7400 driver for windows 7.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_notebook_winvista_win7_179.48_beta.html

Open the above link and Click on "Supported products", you will find your card listed there.

Download the file and installed it.Your graphic will work fine with Windows 7.

Your Notebook doesn't support windows 7 according to Sony. But if Windows 7 work fine with your Notebook then it's good. The graphic card which comes with your laptop is support by Windows 7 and the driver for that chipset is available and there should not be any problem with your graphic card.

Happy New year..

Vaio SZ640 restarting on it's own.

you may need to re-install the driver of the video card or at least update it. else this immediate restart may mean that the Laptop is overheating. check that the fan is working.
