How to connect wyse wy-185 to at&t 577 printer

Trying to connect wy-185 to at&t 577 printer. I need pin-outs for rj11 and db25. Looks like a null modem is needed. WY-185 does not see printer. Printer head docks when wy-185 is powered on or off. So. it looks like the printer is seeing the wy-185.

FIX NEX LCD1960NXi no power

I have had a similar problem. The IEC (power) socket may have loose pins or poor solder connections inside. If you have another power cord, try connecting it. In my case, the cord had to be shoved in repeatedly because the monitor kept losing the ac.

Lost bios password which was the serial and dont have it is there a way to bypass

First, remove the case to look at the motherboard, so we can try resetting the CMOS battery. This battery looks a shiny little disk the size of a nickel. Pry the battery free gently, and reinsert the battery after 10 minutes. If this worked and you don't see the password prompt, you don't need any more steps; the problem is fixed. In my experience, two or more additional steps might be necessary depending on the make of the BIOS. Unfortunately, they don't all respond to the same tricks.

Next, now that the case is already removed, locate the jumpers near the edge of the board or near the CPU or the CMOS battery. Once located, find the label that will say clear CMOS, or clear password, etc. Place the jumper over the pins and boot. If this works, no more steps are needed. If it doesn't work, read on.

The third step to try is to enter a password. When you receive the password prompt, try one of the following passwords. If you have an Award BIOS, try these; AWARD PW, ALFAROME, or _award. If you have Phoenix BIOS try, CMOS, PHOENIX, or BIOS.

If none of these things have worked, as a last resort, try a software utility that resets system passwords. These utilities can be found online.

WYSE 50 beeps at turn on, but no data on screen. Seem to recall that you could hold down some keys when powering on, but do not recall which ones.

On powerup, you can get to options screens by pressing one of the F-keys. It varies between computers, but it's usually either F2, F8, or F12. If in doubt, try all of them until you get a menu screen, then go from there. The beep at turn-on is an indicator that something isn't hooked up right, usually, so recheck all your connections, then take it from there. If you still have your manual, it will tell you the powerup options, and how to access them. Good luck!.

Out of range in this wyse how to rectify

Here are thing that you can do to get a better range for this device:

* Relocate it, move it a higher location like on top of a desk.
* Make sure that there are not much obstructions around it.
* Check if you have other wireless devices that might interfere with the signal that his device is broadcasting, like a cordless phones.

* If there is really a problem with the distance between this device and your computers, a wireless repeater might help. You can check if this manufacturer has this type of device.

Bypass without switch

Get a relay (4 or 5 pin) from Autozone, O-Reilly, PEP Boys, etc....
Connect wires as follows on relay:
Pin #86 - Amp remote from your radio (blue wire)
Pin #30 and #85 - to a chassis ground (metal dash bracket)
Pin #87 - to Parking brake input wire on your radio (light green)
Pin # 87a - IGNORE. It isn't used in this case.

What this will do is.....
Radio will power on when you turn your key. The amp wire is delayed slightly and will trigger the relay in a second or two. This tricks the radio into thinking your e-brake has been engaged and violla....Mine has worked everyday since I connected it.

The wyse 50 terminal does not work properly

Wyse 50/60/150/160 monitors were my specialty!

From what you were explaining it seems to me that you have a bad internal battery and it needs to be changed and a factory reset/ calibration needs to be performed.

I can repair wyse terminals at my facility if you like. The repair cost is not that high and we can also perform the regular repair and adjustments on all wyse monitors if needed.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Wyse Terminal

Do you have a print screen button, sometimes abbreviated PrtScr on the keytops. I would get the contractor back on site and have them setup the machine so you can print, they left the job unfinished and I would emphasize that when you call back.
