Question about Kenwood KM800 Major Classic Stand Mixer
My model A901 Kenwood chef began to smoke and give off an acrid buring electrics smell whilst creaming cake mixture (100g butter, 100g sugar & 2 eggs!). I had made another cake just before this one too. I know that it is old and I suspect that the smell is coming from the motor. Do you know what is wrong with it and can it be fixed?
There is a kit on ebay for both 701 and 901 kenwoods requires use of soldering iron do a search for Kenwood motor repair it is unlikely to be the motor usually the speed contoller components
