Question about Samsung 32 in. LCD Monitor TV
My husband and I hooked up our 32" LCD Samsung TV on Friday and everything worked fine. Last night, we moved some furniture around and had to re-hook up the TV and cable and now we can't get the channel to stop showing in the top right corner. We've gone through every menu option on both the TV and the HD DVR box. There was nothing we had to do the first time we hooked up the TV so we are confused as to why it's now decided to show that "2" in the corner. Can you help us before we lose our minds?!
Most remote controls have a "display" button. Pressing that is what gets that channel number on the screen. Try pressing it again and the display should turn off. On some brands the display may cycle through various combinations (channel number only, channell and time, etc.) before it goes away, so it may take more than one press of the button.
