Hello I have a Sharp mx-2300n and just yesterday it started poping up a screen that says "Load Paper" the problem is that both paper trays are full of paper. I've shut it off, looked through the manual and can't find anything to help tell me whats going on with it, PLEASE HELP ME!!

- There are no error codes, the paper trays work fine and both trays are full of paper. The machine is working like normal, the only thing its doing is constantly saying "Load Extra paper (TYPE: Plain)" on the screen and it wont go away. You push the "ok" button and it goes away for a min but comes right back.
hi does the machine give you any error codes?
is it both trays that are not working or just 1?

- ok no probs. it sounds like the page setup on the print job is wrong. the machine is being told to print on this paper type so it holds all jobs and gives you this message. check the setup in word or whatever app you use. click file, page setup and look under the paper tab. also make sure that the driver is set to auto paper select.
when
Goto the job status and select the print job that is waiting.. To the right, select details and select the paper size you want. Identify the job because you will want to make sure the settings in that document are set to the correct paper size and type.

I would print 1 color copy and get an error message unknown. This made the copier spit out numerous pages of error messages that I had to delete one by one even though I cleared the print queue on my MAC. Since this file printed put fine to our Lexmark, I looked further. I notice a number of my colors were set up as spot instead of process. Once I fixed that, the file printed fine.
