I have had these headphones for about 12 years now, and have had to replace the batteries twice. (Once right now, hence finding this blog)
1st: pull off the speaker cover on the "on\off" speaker carefully. It is tucked in around the rim and can be carefully pulled out and worked around.
2nd: three phillips screws need to be loosened.
3rd: unplug the battery.
4th: I was told by 'Batteries Plus' (a US battery franchise) that these batteries with this plug aren't being manufactured anymore, but they made one for me. They are online: batteriesplus.com
