Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Video and picture viewing problems

I have a sansa e270R and most of the video I upload turns out fine, but when I placed a episode of one of my shows (I used the converter so it wasn't that) on the player when I watched it the audio was about 37 seconds ahead of the video, I tried redownloading it but it turns out the same. The video plays fine on my computer. As for the picture, extra copies are downloaded and they are layered on top of each other when I view them.

Its not playing videos

First step --
Download a PDF copy of the Sansa View manual. Here's a link:

There are two likely reasons for the video not to work;
1) The software that runs your Sansa View, known as 'firmware', is outdated;

2) Your video requires conversion before you download it.

1) Firmware update?
Download a copy of the Sansa Firmware Updater from here:

Start it on your computer, and follow the directions to update your Sansa View's firmware, if needed.

2) Download and install the Sansa Media Converter (SMC) from the same link above.
--Plug in your Sansa View to the computer, and run the SMC.
--Follow the directions to select your video. SMC processes one video at a time for upload into your Sansa player.

Another possibility - Try loading video from Windows Media Player 11;

From the manual, page 17--
"Your Sansa View player supports MPEG-4 Simple Profile up to VGA, H.264 Baseline Profile up to VGA, and WMV up to QVGA video formats.
That means you can simply drag and drop these files into the Video folder if you are using Windows Media Player 11."

Hopefully, that will help you get your videos in!

Ive been trying to add photos to my SanDisk Sansa

u may check it carefully and follow this guide:
The Sansa Media Converter (SMC) software is required to convert and transfer videos and photos (pictures) to your Sansa player as well as the memory card in your Sansa player.

NOTE: Only the Sansa e200v2, Fuze, and View allow viewing of video files from the memory card.

STEP 1 - Download and install Sansa Media Converter
The Sansa Media Converter application is available via the Sansa Firmware Updater.

STEP 2 - Convert and transfer your video or image files

NOTE: To see a list of supported image/video file formats, see Sansa Media Converter does not convert a file

1. Run the Sansa Media Converter.
2. Connect the Sansa player to the PC.
3. If a Portable Device windows appears, select Sansa Media Converter using Sansa Media Converter.

4. The Sansa player should appear on the left pane of the Sansa Media Converter console.
5. Click Add Media to add video or photo files to be converted and transferred.
(In the sample below we imported an image and a video file)
6. The converted files are stored in My Album by default. To place them in a different folder, select My Album then type in a new name.

7. Depending on what Sansa player that's plugged in or if a microSD is present in the Sansa player, click on the Sansa player or the microSD card on the left pane to select where to transfer the converted files. (in the sample below, we selected the microSD card)
8. Click Convert to covert the files.
9. Once the files are converted it's automatically transferred to the device or microSD.
10. Click OK when finished.

I uploaded pictures, songs and videos into 1GB micro SD card. But in Sansa e250 am able to see only songs in it. am unable to view pictures or vidoes stored in SD card. please help me.

The Sansa will only show photos and play videos from its internal memory, not the microSD card. You can put music on the card, but not photos or videos.

Sansa problems

I still haven't figured out what happened when it froze, but I solved the other problem... I just switched the options to "show hidden icons" for some reason those four folders were shown as hidden.
