False battery power alarm shut down

My laptop, a cn6555 balance notebook, even with a new battery when on battery power and shows 100% will after a few minutes go into alarm for low battery. i have set everything on power settings and alarms at the extreme time and settings. it still will after a few minuites even with nothing attached to it will alarm. viewing the battery power meter it will show 96% and still it goes off and will shut down. voltage testing shows that the battery has full charge as far as voltage reading. all connections are clean. after it has shut down and pluging the outside power adapter, rebooted then checking power indicator it says (charging) 7-8 %. it does show that it is charging and in percentages. all appears normal while charging.

Ive had a look at the manufacturer web site but ther doesn't seem to be any driver for your model. You should be able to turn the battery warning alarm off in the management settings

Your Problem may very well be your POWER ADAPTER. Try changing that instead.

That would be the logical repair. You can also try seperating the two pins a little in order to acheive a tighter fit.

No powercord

I'm not sure which powercord you wanted because the title and the message had different things, so I'm providing both.

This is for the CN6555 Power Adapter.
